We need artists!

Now that Laughing At My Nightmare, Inc. has officially been approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity, we are turning the volume up to 10 and getting our asses in gear! We are working on a bunch of stuff right now, including a speaking tour this summer that I am extremely excited about.

Another project we are currently working on is expanding our creative team and designing new T-shirts. We are interested in bringing several motivated graphic design artists onto the LAMN team!

I know many of you are extremely talented artists/graphic designers. This is an awesome opportunity for you to volunteer with a young organization that has a very large following, so your work will immediately have a substantial audience, as well as the power to help us change the world by making people happier.

Again, this is a volunteer position, but we are asking that applicants meet a few requirements:

· Self-motivation

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work alone and in a group collaboration setting, as well as an ability to meet deadlines

· Substantial experience in graphic design (knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop are helpful but not required. At the very least you need to have some way to create your designs)

· Some type of portfolio or documentation of work that you have done in the past, even if it was just for fun.

The IRS is currently reviewing Laughing At My Nightmare’s application to become a tax deductible charity, which is what most legitimate nonprofits are. They can take a few months to respond, but you better believe we’re going to throw one hell of a party when we get that acceptance letter! I will let you all know as soon as I hear from them, then we can start planning who’s bringing the chips and dip to said party.
